Phenalkamine PPA – 7558 is Mannich based epoxy hardener, a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid & polyamine. It is low viscosity curing agent for epoxy resins specially developed for primer for concrete surfaces & potable water contact. Formulator can develop epoxy systems which are VOC compliant i.e. solvent less or high solids epoxy coatings systems. In general it shows ability to resist moisture while curing & also exhibit rapid cure even at low temperatures similar to other phenalkamines.

Phenalkamine systems based on distilled CNSL show intense yellowing during exterior exposure & as such have colour value very high on Gardner scale. PPA – 7562 is Phenalkamine developed to improve yellowing properties, as well as to assist formulator to develop the light shades in Epoxy Phenalkamine systems.
